We are here to help you share your story, in the most comfortable way possible, and begin to heal.
We do this through an investigation, and this is how:
First, you will meet with the interviewer; they are going to talk to you about what happened.
They are going to want you to share as much of the story as you can remember, so they can best help you.
Sometimes, we will ask the person who takes care of you, to take you to see your doctor, or we may set you up with our special doctor who works with kids like you every day.
After the social worker, police persons, and doctor have had a chance to do their jobs, they will come together with lawyers, counselors, and your advocates, and talk about what will happen next with the case.
This can look like many things, but the end goal will always be how to best honor your brave steps in coming forward, and help you heal.
